I was born in Mildura and adopted out to another family at a young age. I was not aware of my Aboriginality until I was about 21, as my Father didn’t tell me.
It was my Mother who was Aboriginal and I discovered my family was from the North of Broome area in Western Australia.
I have slowly discovered my culture, mob and family and my art helps me on my journey. Every now and then I meet new people who I find I have connection to and it is amazing journey.
My art keeps me connected to my culture, and continues to help me learn about my Aboriginal heritage.
