I was born in Melbourne Victoria, and was raised in Bacchus Marsh. When I was 19 I began to learn more about my culture when I found myself part of the Torch Project while incarcerated. My Aboriginal peers encouraged me to paint, and I found myself connecting more to my heritage and learning more than ever when I sat down to paint.
My painting connects me to my culture and remains therapy for me to progress in my life and to my cultural connections.
