Perridak Arts is a therapeutic program, established in May 2023 to provide Ballarat local First Nation’s artists and craftspeople an outlet to display and sell their original artwork.
For over one year, Perridak Arts, which is Aboriginal owned and operated by Ballarat & District Aboriginal Cooperative, has proudly supported nearly 60 First Nation’s artists to use their artistic abilities to reconnect to their culture, tell their stories, while entering the Aboriginal art scene.
In our first year, over $70,000 has been paid directly to the Artists from sales of their works. This financial reward further supports their artistic and cultural development.
Perridak Arts is proud to be a local Ballarat business, supporting local First Nation people. We present these developing artists and craftspeople to Ballarat residents, visitors to the region and overseas buyers and take pride in showcasing the oldest living culture in the world.
