There was a man who went off by himself to go fishing, and on one day he decided to go fishing for food he came across, a woman who was not from his tribe but a tribe close to his.  They were very confused with each others encounter, but it wasn’t long before they became very close to each other.  The did everything together, but one day the hunters from the woman’s tribe saw them together and became angry at their relationship.  It was against the lore for two from different sides to engage with each other.

The hunter started to confront the man, throwing spears towards the man who was trying to take the women from his tribe. The man ran towards the water, pleading to the spirit of the land to save him from the hunter.  The spirit heard his voice and gave him a shell to protect himself against the spears.  The man with the shell went into the water, never to walk on land again.  His body changed as he spends his life gliding through the water.
