I see you..I hear you

This seascape photograph suggests an imagined view from the shore during the early days of colonisation by the British. A sailing ship is moored in the blue waters of a harbour. The waters tell the tale of the perceptions of Europeans and their interactions with Aboriginal people in the early days of the new colony. A mythical being, symbolic of the beliefs and customs of Aboriginal people is interacting with the sailing ship holding a branch of eucalyptus leaves.
