I was born in Brisbane Queensland, a proud Kalkadoon Women.
One of my earlier memories when I was a young girl, was travelling across Australia from Brisbane to Darwin. Along the way we made a stop at Mount Isa (Kalkadoon) Country. We stayed and met with the elders. They told us stories and showed me our land, and I learnt about bush tucker.
I moved from Alice Springs to Ballarat in 2010 with my husband and 2 children, a decision that we think was one of the best moves for our family.
