I was born in Brisbane Queensland. My Father was from the Stolen Generations, and removed from Cherbourg in 1965 when he was 4 years old. Like him, I didn’t know much about my culture, but I learnt a lot when I lived with my Auntie, years later. She was very connected to her culture.
After dancing with the Bangara Dance Company at the Sydney Opera House, I began to discover more about who I was and my connections to my Aboriginality.
In 2020 I moved to Ballart with my family, and have been painting and selling my artwork every since.
